Released – Breaking Free from the Things That Bind Us -Part 6 -Final

Stepping Boldly Into the Freedom You Were Made For

Nothing our Heavenly Father does is random. Every move He makes, every Word He speaks, and every door He opens or shuts is purposeful according to His divine Will and plan. He’s awesome and amazing, and we can have overwhelming confidence that His brilliance and love never fail. His plans are intentional. They are wise and loving, even when we don’t fully understand them. And when God releases you from something, it’s never just for your temporary relief. It’s for your eternal growth.

Feeling good is very important to us, and this is part of what our Lord and Savior offers. Jesus Himself said in John 10:10 (NLT), “My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” But freedom in Christ isn’t just about feeling better for a moment. It’s about becoming the person God always had in mind when He first formed you. You weren’t just released to feel better. You were released to become.

He wants you to become the healed, whole, powerful, purpose-driven believer that He had in mind when He first formed you. Moving through this world with peace in your soul, clarity in your mind, and fire in your bones—that’s not a one-time moment. That’s your continual destination.

Throughout this series, God has been peeling things back. Exposing the hidden prisons—fear, shame, old soul ties, silent agreements, and invisible chains. And maybe for the first time in a long time, you’ve felt seen and understood. Maybe you’ve even felt a little shaken. Because once the blindfold is off, you can’t unsee what’s been binding you.

But here’s the beauty: freedom always begins with truth. And now that you know the truth, you can walk in it. Jesus didn’t just come to save you from sin—He came to break every chain that’s tried to hold your life hostage. Galatians 5:1 (NLT) says, “So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free…” That’s your charge now: not just to know you’re free, but to live like it. To protect your peace. Guard your mind. Choose new cycles. Speak different. Think different. Be different—because, in Christ, you are.

Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” You weren’t just released from something—you were released for something. That means your transformation has purpose. Your voice has weight, and your freedom is going to unlock doors not just for you, but for others as well.

Never minimize what God is doing in you. You may not feel “finished,” but you are in motion. You are in progress. And Philippians 1:6 (NLT) gives you this promise: “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished…” God isn’t done. And neither are you.

Stand tall, not because of pride but because God has empowered you through His Holy Spirit. Speak life. Break the cycles that once broke you. Walk in purpose and leave a legacy that outlives you. Let everyone see what freedom really looks like in someone who knows who they are—and Whose they are. The door is open. The chains are gone. This is your time, because you’ve been released for a reason: to give God the glory and walk in all the good things He’s planned for your life.

Personal Declaration:

I declare that I am no longer bound.
The chains of fear, shame, and old patterns have been broken by the power of Jesus Christ.
I am not who I used to be—I am who God says I am.
Chosen. Free. Healed. Whole.

I release every lie that tried to keep me small.
I cancel every soul tie, every cycle, every agreement that kept me stuck.
I step fully into my identity as a child of God.
I choose faith over familiar. Purpose over pain. Truth over trauma.

I believe that God is still working in me.
And I trust that what He started, He will finish.
I will walk like I’m free.
Live like I’m loved.
And show up every day knowing—I was released for a reason.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.■
